A Love Letter To Our Patients

By Danielle Floyd

Dear Patient,

On this Valentine’s Day, when love is being celebrated in so many ways, we want to take a moment to celebrate you. We recognize that your journey is deeply personal and can tend to feel isolating, but every step you have taken to get here is a testament to your resilience and strength. You are not alone. You are loved.

Love is not just found in grand gestures or heart-shaped boxes. Love is the friend who holds your hand, the partner who listens without judgment, the provider who treats you with kindness, and the community who fights for your right to reproductive healthcare. Most of all, love is in the way you care for yourself, in the way you honor your needs and your future.

At our clinic, we believe that love means trust – trusting you to know what is best for your life. Love means support – ensuring you have the care, information, and resources you need. And love means compassion – holding space for you without shame or stigma.

We are committed to making our clinic a sanctuary where your feelings, fears, and hopes are met with genuine care and understanding. Every conversation, every procedure, and every moment of care is imbued with a deep respect for who you are and your choices.

Today, as we celebrate love in all its beautiful forms, we also honor the love that drives the fight for justice and dignity in abortion care. Your strength fuels our commitment to advocating for a world where everyone can make decisions about their own lives. We are proud to be a part of your support system and pledge to continue providing compassionate and respectful care.

You are worthy of love. You are worthy of care. You are worthy of respect. Most importantly, you are not alone on this journey.

Everyone loves someone who has had an abortion.

With love and solidarity,
Your independent abortion provider
